Prof. Waldvogel's group was able to make an exciting contribution to the topic of automated reaction optimization in electrosynthesis with an interesting publication on the software package LABS~ (Laboratory Automation and Batch Scheduling) in the future cluster ETOS. It is a Python-based open-source software that is able to orchestrate various laboratory devices and provides users with a browser-based front end. The aim was to provide easily customizable software for laboratory automation and to create the basis for many future automation projects.
