Chemical Humanities

Narrativization of green technologies

The aim of the Chemical Humanities project within the innovation support measures is to find out more about and analyze the mood and obstacles on the part of industry. The focus here is on qualitative narrative interviews, which build on quantitative surveys already conducted and provide detailed insights into particular opportunities and risks. In addition, society is to be involved in ETOS and its mood and acceptance of organic electrosynthesis and green technology identified.

The project is developing new methodological approaches to support the project partners in ETOS in communicating the project results achieved in the network to different groups in the best possible way: (1) to other scientists from the disciplines represented in ETOS and beyond, (2) to stakeholders and companies in industry (industrial partners), and (3) to a wider public. The project is thus located at the interface between research, industry and the public. It can be seen as a measure to accompany innovation because it develops strategies (narrative strategies) that are intended to contribute to the implementation of ETOS research results in industry and society.
