Outreach4ETOS Strategic public relations project

The Outreach4ETOS project is an innovation support measure to inform society about the technologies, activities and goals of ETOS, to build acceptance and to exchange ideas with representatives of society. In addition, a more general specialist audience from the fields of industry, chemistry and process engineering is to be reached in order to inform and discuss progress in the electrification of the chemical industry and to present the electrosynthesis technology in general and explain its advantages in simple terms. This should lead to in-depth knowledge and broad acceptance of organic electrosynthesis in society and industry, as well as to a general transfer of knowledge to other areas of the specialist world.

With stands and lectures at conferences and trade fairs as well as publications, public relations work is carried out in broad areas of the professional world and scientific results are made accessible to the general public. Society is informed and involved with stands at science fairs, school experiments and publications in popular science magazines, so that an exchange can take place here. Internet and social media presence (homepage, X, LinkedIn, etc.) provide interested parties with up-to-date information and enable them to make contact. In addition, a public ETOS podcast is planned, which will provide information on organic electrosynthesis, research successes and critical topics.
