Electrifying Technical Organic Syntheses
~ the first major technology platform that drives the transfer of electroorganic syntheses from the laboratory to industrial scale ~

Pool MAZEL

Shared pool of electrode materials and electrolytic cells

Pool MAZEL provides a library of existing and innovative electrode materials and electrolytic cells of different scales and geometries for the organic electrosynthesis. Within ETOS, all participants will have the opportunity to borrow components from the library and test them in their own electro-syntheses. In this way, especially newly joined participants will be supported with the first pre-selection of materials and cells. Resulting know-how on the suitability or incompatibility of individual electrodes and cell designs will be collected in the ETOS research data banks, i.e. ELN Elch and Adacta4ETOS, and used to improve the selection of existing electrodes and electrolytic cells. This information involves electrode materials and cells that are neither available on the market nor are part of the standard equipment of manufacturers for electrolysis equipment.
